Went to a town called San Blas this weekend. Six
girls from Toronto, and Me ... I tried to recruit some
other guys to go, but to no avail. Anyway, It is near
a city called Tepic which is about 250K people, and
San Blas is a small town of about maybe 10K people.
There were no tourists there except for Mexicans, and
it was really nice.

We left on friday to get there, and arrived in Tepic
at 10pm, then we found out that there were no more
buses leaving for San Blas until the next
morning....you should see the shithole of a hotel that
we stayed in on the friday night ... it cost us about
3 bucks a person, and it was not even worth that ,
the rooms totally stunk, there was no hot water, and
the sheets were totally dirty. Plus, the walls did not
mute the sounds at all, but it was a good experience
.... we splurged for a hotel on the saturday night in
San Blas ($25 per person), and it was awesome. The
water in the ocean was like a hot tub. We hung out at
the beach, and it was soooo hot there. Then yesterday,
we went for a boat ride through the jungle. It was
interesting, but at the other end of the boat ride
there was (of course) a tourist trap restraunt bar....
but it was interesting .. .we then hitched a ride in
some guys pick up truck back to town from the boat
ride place.

The buses here are seriously luxurios (compared to
canada).... well, some of them are, depending on if it
is a first class bus or not. Some of them are
seriously pieces of shit. Mexico is full of contrasts
and contradictions.

anyway, I have to go to dance class right now... so I´ll write more later
